Donald "Hopsing" Pilkinton

Donald "Hopsing" Pilkinton, age 55, of Ethridge passed away on Monday. He was a deputy in the Sheriff's Department, a veteran of the National Guard where he served in Saudia Arabia, the Barn Fellowship Church in Ethridge, The David Crockett Long Hunters Association, the 48th Tennessee Infantry Civil War Reinactors, the VFW, F.O.P., Tennessee Sheriff's Association and was a Boy Scout Commissioner.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Davis Pilkinton, a daughter, Cheryl Pilkinton of Portland, two sons Scott Pilkinton and James Pilkinton of Lawrenceburg, two stepsons, Matt Wix of Cedar Grove and Jeremy Binkly of Greenbrier.
One brother, Mike Pilkinton of Lawrenceburg.
His Mother, Louise Pilkinton of Lawrenceburg.
Three grandchildren and two step grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be at one on Thursday at Neal Funeral Home with David Stoffel and Coy Anderson officiating. Burial will be at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge. The family will visit with friends at Neal Funerl Home from four until nine on Wednesday.
The family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
