One dead; one seriously injured in car accident

One teenager is dead and her sister seriously injured after a car accident last night on Highway 43 in Summertown. The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the victim as 13 year old Mary A. Money of 3870 Buffalo Road. Her sister, 17 year old Lydia Knoll Money was seriously injured. According to Trooper Jonathon Pully’s report, Lydia Money was traveling south and had stopped in the turning lane near Monument Road and then tragically pulled into the path of a van driven by 50 year old Felita Hinson of Leoma. Lydia Money sustained serious injuries and was airlifted from the scene to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville
